Overview
Huevy (pronounced "hue- 'y' ", sounds like "UI") is a modern platform for generating, managing, and syncing design system tokens between your design environment in Figma and development projects. It serves as your bridge for consistent design and code, reducing manual work and streamlining updates across your workflow.
Origin
Huevy was created to solve two problems. First, cut-short the time taken by designers to create palettes and type variables in Figma. Second, implement exact same colors and type variables in dev environment. Designers who define design systems, can confidently control the output and rest assured that developers will implement the same values in their code.
Mission
Huevy’s mission is to streamline the design-to-development handoff by automating the generation and synchronization of design tokens, reducing friction and empowering teams to maintain consistency and collaborate efficiently across both design and development workflows.
